Endura
THE CHALLENGE
Endura had commissioned research through another agency but were struggling to act on the volume of recommendations. With a large backlog of suggested changes and a highly inflexible CMS limiting what was technically possible, they needed help navigating what to do first and how to make meaningful improvements within real constraints.
THE APPROACH
I ran usability testing on the current site to validate and build on the existing research, then worked with the Endura team to prioritise their roadmap for 2024 based on user behaviour and technical feasibility. Key recommendations included surfacing gender and riding category navigation at the top of the homepage, introducing a persistent side filter on desktop, relocating video content into the gallery for better visibility, and using product tags to surface key attributes like waterproof and windproof. I also created a testing framework so the team could validate changes post-launch rather than relying on assumptions.
A clear, prioritised roadmap that gave Endura a realistic and evidence-based plan for improving usability within their CMS constraints.
THE RESULTS
Working within constraints is a core design skill. The best recommendation isn't always the ideal solution — it's the one that delivers real improvement within what's actually possible.
